​​Karmic Soulutions Inc. empowers foster youth and adopted young adults transitioning into independence by providing reliable transportation, life-skills resources, and community support. Through our Transportation Assistance Program (T.A.P.) and Thrive After 18 initiatives, we help young people access education, employment, and opportunity — driving change one car, one future, one soulution at a time.
Eligibility
🚗 Transportation Assistance Program (T.A.P.) Eligibility
**Karmic Soulutions Inc. — Boise, Idaho**
The **Transportation Assistance Program (T.A.P.)** empowers young adults transitioning from foster care or adoption to independence. Our goal is to help youth overcome transportation barriers that limit access to work, school, and opportunity.
### **Who Can Apply**
Applicants must meet **all** of the following:
1. **Age Requirement**
* Be **18 to 26 years old** at the time of application.
2. **Residency**
* Be a **current resident of Idaho**, with preference given to those living in the Treasure Valley region.
* Provide proof of residency (ID, lease, utility bill, or official mail).
3. **Foster Care or Adoption History**
* Must have **aged out of Idaho’s foster care system** or been **adopted after age 14** and now aged out of that placement.
* Documentation such as placement verification, adoption decree, or DHS/IDHW letter may be required.
4. **Income & Need Verification**
* Must demonstrate **financial need** or limited access to reliable transportation.
* Provide income verification (SSI, paystub, or benefits statement) consistent with Idaho poverty guidelines.
5. **Program Commitment**
* Must sign a **T.A.P. Participation Agreement** and follow all safety and program rules.
* Attend required orientations, driving safety sessions, and follow-up check-ins.
6. **Legal & Safety Requirements**
* Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Idaho driver’s license.
* Must not have unresolved legal restrictions preventing vehicle use.
* Must agree to maintain valid insurance (if applicable).
7. **Community Engagement**
* Must be willing to participate in community service or mentoring activities through Karmic Soulutions programs, helping other youth on their journey.
### **Program Priority**
Priority consideration is given to:
* Youth who are working, attending school, or in vocational training.
* Youth who demonstrate stability and readiness for vehicle ownership.
* Applicants who are actively engaged in goal-setting with a case manager, counselor, or mentor.

Who We Are
**Karmic Soulutions Inc.** is a Boise-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young adults who have aged out of foster care or adoption.
We believe that every young person deserves dignity, stability, and the chance to build a successful future — no matter where they come from.
Founded and led by **Eileen De Leon**, Karmic Soulutions stands as a bridge between struggle and self-sufficiency, helping youth navigate life’s hardest transitions with compassion, resources, and real-world opportunity.

What We Do
Karmic Soulutions provides **transportation, mentorship, and advocacy** for youth ages **18–26** who are transitioning out of the foster care system or adoption.
Our primary initiative, the **Transportation Assistance Program (T.A.P.)**, helps young adults overcome one of the biggest barriers to independence — **reliable transportation**.

Through T.A.P., we:

Our Goal is to help these young individuals transition into adulthood with the tools they need to thrive, ensuring they have the freedom and mobility to pursue education, employment, and personal growth. Through compassion and community support, we are committed to giving foster and adopted youth the chance to reach their full potential.
